Rocket City to the Big City

Well reader, today marks officially 2 weeks that I've been living in 'The City'. I get my groceries at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, I walk before the light changes, heck I'm not even that scared of the Subway anymore! ;)

I haven't been ashamed to have my fair share of touristy moments, though; I love having my camera by my side. Just take a walk down 5th and check each landmark off your list:

I've just finished my first week of classes and I have a spot to volunteer at Fashion Week, so be on the lookout for a new post full of freshman probs, first day outfits, and fashion week fun!

Making the move

This is just a short update before the real fun (chaos?) begins! I will be moving to NYC starting this Saturday to start my life as a college student, and if you saw my last post I am thrilled to announce I successfully fit everything into my three box limit:

Packing is much more stressful than I could have imagined. Luckily these boxes made it to the UPS store on Friday (with the help of my awesome family) and I'll see them again on Sunday!

I also spent a considerable amount of time this weekend working on revamping the blog; how do you like the new look so far?  Let me know what you think!
